New home of AFW bulletin

One of the Executive Dean’s key priorities is to improve how the schools and faculty work together. As such, this has started by improving our internal communication – the goal being to increase information sharing and engagement across our faculty and schools.
The Faculty have been able to achieve this so far by recruiting web authors to populate the sciences intranet blog, which in turn feeds into the e-newsletter Sam Le Gallo crafts each fortnight. Results show that these activities have been well received by staff. Attached is a progress report with statistics that goes into more detail.
The sciences intranet blog provides staff with extra benefits – including a larger audience, a more modern interface, increased usability for staff, less duplication, as well as a way to better connect the school staff to the rest of the faculty and vice versa.
The AFW Bulletin WordPress site will cease being used. The site will be retained as an ‘archive’ in case staff would like to access its historical content.
