The Sciences Gender Equity and Diversity Committee will convene for the first time in 2019 in February.
Director, Gender Equity and Diversity – Faculty of Sciences
Associate Professor Kapil Chousalkar will be the Director, Gender Equity and Diversity for the Faculty of Sciences from 1 January 2019. A/Prof Chousalkar takes over from Prof Eileen Scott who has very ably led the portfolio since 2013. The announcement from our Executive Dean Keith Jones can be found here.
Postgraduate Student Representative on Sciences Gender Equity and Diversity Committee.
The Sciences Gender Equity and Diversity Committee welcomes Erin Brazel, a postgraduate student from the School of Biological Sciences. Erin will contribute to the committee by providing her insight, along with that of fellow students, so the committee can ensure it is listening and developing plans with the views of this cohort considered, as it works towards creating greater gender equity and diversity within the Faculty of Sciences.
